Delphi is built to work for everyone in the system
Accurate forecasting increases efficiency, reduces system-wide costs, stabilises the grid, and speeds up Australia's energy transition.
Who We Are
Delphi is an Australian AI company building forecasting systems for complex electricity markets. We work alongside CSIRO's Data61 and the Australian National University, with live operational deployment across more than 450 MW of flexible assets in the NEM.
We've been working together for over a decade, and started Delphi because we want to help Australia transition to renewable energy without driving up prices for consumers.
Better forecasting makes renewable investment viable
The returns from large scale renewable assets are increasingly determined by operational decisions made in real time. When forecasts are poor, assets dispatch at suboptimal intervals and revenue falls short.
Delphi's models are built specifically for the NEM, trained on years of Australian market data and developed with an understanding of how this grid actually behaves. That local depth is what separates us from offshore providers, and it is what drives the 19% average revenue uplift our partners see from their existing assets
A faster transition, without the price tag
Australia has committed to 82% renewable energy by 2030. Hitting that target while keeping energy affordable requires every existing asset to perform at its best.
The rapid growth of data centres and AI infrastructure is placing new and unpredictable demands on the grid, making accurate forecasting more critical than ever.
More accurate forecasting means renewables can be integrated faster and more efficiently, keeping prices down for consumers even as demand grows.
